Net Safety's Comprehensive Family of Flame Detectors Released - 02.20.05
Net Safety Monitoring Inc. is proud to announce its comprehensive line of rapid, reliable, and accurate flame detectors. Each fire detection technology provides end-users with an unparalleled ability to detect fires, and consequently prevent major crises that seriously affect personal and corporate integrity, and the company's bottom line. The wide range of detectors enables enterprises to choose a detector (or combination of detectors) that best fits the potential fire hazards within their industry.
The Net Safety family of flame detectors includes:
Single Ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared (IR) Detectors
These detectors, which react to either the UV or IR radiation found in most fires, are mainly used for applications that require an extremely quick response time - namely ones that are indoors.
Smart UV/IR Detector
The UV/IR detector reacts to both UV and IR radiation, and alarms only when data from the two spectrums of radiation are recognized and confirmed. This makes the UV/IR ideal for applications that require high immunity to false alarms, especially if they are located outdoors.
Phoenix 3IR Detector
Armed with three optical IR sensors, the Phoenix virtually eliminates the costly occurrences of false alarms. It requires input from three IR wavelengths to be activated, and is fortified with Net Safety's unique Automatic Digital Zoom (ADZ) technology. As a result, any data read and processed is the most precise and complete that detector technology can supply, providing unparalleled false alarm immunity over conventional single UV, IR, or UV/IR detectors. Also, The absence of external reflectors seriously undermines corrosion issues, decreasing the amount of service required, saving time and money.
All of Net Safety's flame detectors are protected in attractive, robust explosion-proof housing (Class 1, Division 1 certified), which means they will continue to function in the most extreme industrial and weather conditions. Outfitted with multi-colored, high intensity LEDs, any fault or alarm activity status can be seen in situations with extremely limited light visibility.
Net Safety's flame detectors were designed with installation concerns in mind. Their adjustable swivel mount, field of view, and detection range leads to simple, flexible installation and alignment on any site. Furthermore, they are immune to sunlight, lightning, and black body radiation.
All of Net Safety's flame/fire detectors work well in stand-alone operations. However, their effectiveness is exponential when used in conjunction with other detectors in the Net Safety family for enhanced layers of detection capability. Also, each detector can be configured for analog, relay, or digital output for compatibility with the specific needs of any safety system, and can be adjusted for sensitivity and time delay, allowing customized responses to fire signals.
Net Safety flame detectors come equipped with additional features that save time and money. Each has an independent watchdog timer, which continually monitors the internal electronics, assuring fail-safe error detection and continuous system diagnosis. In addition, automatic self-testing of their entire optical path ensures visual integrity, resulting in a considerably reduced maintenance costs.
Net Safety is thrilled to offer these superior and affordable flame detectors that are easy to operate and maintain. Flame detectors are just one of many top quality Net Safety instruments designed to alleviate the stress and costs associated with operating in high-risk industries.
