The Millennium II - Single or Multi Channel Gas Detector

The Millennium II Gas Detector from Net Safety Monitoring is now available, perfect for any industrial application where a hazard is created for plant or personnel by a potential accumulation of combustible and/or toxic gases.

With it's innovative multi-channel controller technology and state-of-the-art SMART sensors, the Millennium II Series is exceptionally versatile. There is no longer the need to purchase additional gas-specific detectors, with the option for two sensor connections to a single Millennium II transmitter available to detect the same or different gases with a wider area of coverage. Sensors can be exchanged easily for replacements or different gas types and ranges, with Infrared, Solid State MOS, Electrochemical and Catalytic Bead Smart sensor compatibility.

The Millennium II maintains a uninterrupted digital signal between pre-calibrated sensors and the transmitter, from up to 2000ft away! The transmitter communicates seamlessly with external safety equipment, whether through Analog, Relay, Modbus RS485 or HART output configurations.

All of our sensors are engineered to be fast and reliable with field-proven designs. These include nano-enhanced solid state sensors that "do not fall asleep"; poison-resistant catalytic bead technology with SensorGuard, which prolongs catalytic bead sensor life; infrared sensor technology utilizing a dual beam design with no "mirrors" that may become contaminated ("fogged up") or misaligned; and a full range of electrochemical toxic gas sensors, including the fastest response time in the market today for detecting H2S.

The robust housing design offers easy access to the intuitive menu options and non-intrusive calibration commands in Class 1 Div 1 areas via the external magnet and innovative OLED graphic display. This OLED display is completely unique in the market, providing read-outs that are clearly visible in darkness or bright sun, blistering heat or at temperatures as low as -55�C. The unit still maintains Class 1 Div 2 safety levels with access to the push button controls, manual power switch and test jack outlets. Add our optional intrinsically safe HART port adaptor for access to the built-in data logging and advanced diagnotics, right at the transmitter via a hand-held communicator.

All this amounts to a detector which stands alone in it's simple installation, calibration, and rock solid day-to-day operation. Finally, a line of gas detectors engineered from the ground-up to withstand extreme conditions that also include all the features managers and operators in the field demand. The Millennium II Series pushes the boundaries of what you can expect from your detectors.
