Entire Ultraviolet/Infrared Flame Detection Series Now Qualified SIL2 - 12.10.09
The FMEDA testing performed by exida® yielded a Safe Failure Fraction that qualifies the UV/IR flame detectors as SIL2 devices in
accordance with the IEC61508 standard. The SIL2 qualification allows the installation of the UV/IR into any SIL2 rated system.
